Texas House Creates Its Own DOGE

As Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) gains prominence and support, the Texas House has decided to follow suit.

The Texas House of Representatives has recently formed its own DOGE. With the aim to “reduce the size and scope of government”.

The Texas DOGE will be in the form of a committee, consisting of 8 Texas Republicans and 5 Texas Democrats.

The committee will be chaired by House Representative Giovanni Capriglione, (R-Southlake), who’s served in the Texas House since 2013.
