Texas Stock Exchange files to begin trading in 2026
The Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) has filed the necessary paperwork to officially operate as a national securities exchange.
TXSE is hopeful that the SEC (U. S. Securities and Exchange Commision) will approve the request this year in order to allow trading to begin on the exchange in 2026.
The exchange has raised a considerable amount of capital by some of the biggest players on Wall Street. It’s reported that they have raised upwards of $161 million from the likes of Black Rock, Charles Schwab, Citadel, and others.
TXSE is aiming to give the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) a run for its money. Will they be a competitor?
