Jerry Jones spoke to Deion Sanders about Head Coach opening

Recent reports have indicated that Jerry Jones has spoken with Colorado HC Deion Sanders about the head coaching vacancy in Dallas.

This comes after earlier news today indicating that head coach Mike McCarthy would not be returning for a 6th season.

Deion Sanders, one of the greatest to ever play the game, spent 14 years in the NFL and played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1995-1999. During his time with the Cowboys, he won one Superbowl in 1996 with a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sanders is now going into his 3rd year as the head coach for the Colorado Buffaloes, who finished this past season 9-4.

Aditionally, Sanders' son, Shedeur Sanders has declared for the NFL Draft, and is expected to be a 1st round pick. Many are speculating if the Cowboys could have a father-son duo at HC and QB in the coming years.

What do you think? Would this be a good move for the Cowboys? Should the Cowboys organization try to secure both Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders?
